When did I ever say there was no need for Government? The creation of the entitlements on top of what the Government is mandated to do is what ticks me off. I don't even mind the original purpose of SSI. But for me to be contributing to the retirement of people who are multi-millionaire's and now to be expected to pay for their prescription drugs is wrong. For the able-bodied to feel they can rely on someone to take care of them is wrong. The Government is the most inefficient organization in the country. Walk into a government facility if you want to see chaos. If a private business ran its operations like the government, they would be out of business in a heartbeat. You, my friend, are the one who is brainwashed. And you and those like you are the reason the country is going to hell in a handbasket.knc

Straw man. Liberals always like to frame the argument as them against the anarchists. Government is necessary to preserve liberty. When it forgets it's place it becomes an oppressor.

Oh, and yea, what's mine is mine. That is the bedrock principle of freedom. When the hell did that become a controversial position?
