I find that whenever I try to anticipate the market, rather than trade with the trend, at best I miss out on opportunity or, at worst, get my ass handed to me. Oct. 1998 comes to mind, when I was positioned with poots and Mr. G opted to lower rates. I think a lot of the futures traders had their asses handed to them in that time frame. How's the weather in your neck of the Left Coast? We have a beautiful day here (shhhh. don't tell Dopppler. He thinks it rains here all the time).
