Wow! Haven't bought that rag in a couple of years, it seemed to run out of juice. Tyrrell made a comment a few years ago that he started the Spectator with HL Mencken's old American Mercury in mind. It never quite lived up to that, maybe now it will.

I just tried www.americanspectator.com and got an "under construction" notice. Hopefully,Mr. Gilder will be bringing the publication out of the 19th Century soon. :)
