Salad Mohamed,
ALL RIGHT! Now we have some FA to go with the Amateur TA. Your 2001 $1.72 earnings projection is well thought out. The analyst projections IMHO are conservative at this point. The current conservative estimates give CPQ and the analysts some hedging room. It also keeps future announcements positive as those estimates are raised based on current performance.

I'll keep up the TA, but it will not always be positive. It appears a number of position traders are exiting today. Long term buyers are also slow to pile on a stock. Currently CPQ has a sell signal for day traders, and it's looks like a solid sell signal is coming up for position traders. No danger of a short signal at this point. I wish the current TA was as good as the FA.
