I was also going to mention about "good will".
KREM did built up quite a bit of good will in past 60 years. Not only that, when KREM became public company, they got incredible amount of media coverage.
When was the last time any donut shop or fast food chain got this much media attention?
KREM probably had to spend in the neighborhood of half billion dollars in order to advertise its name and products.
Most haven't thought about this, but KREM has quite a bit of "good will" in brand name alone.

De Beers controlling 80-90% of world diamonds now?
If they unleash all diamond stock piles, the price will drop 90%. Then I will be able to afford one that my wife wants <g>. (I think Russia has the rest of the market)
I still can't figure out why on earth anyone wants that little piece of rock and pay $20K?
