That's funny, horsegirl!

I swear, you and I are SO much alike. I have wondered if other people think we are the same person, just posting w/different alias. Your story reminded me of one of my experiences when my imagination got the upper hand...

One early morning years ago when I was living in an apartment I heard a knock on the door. I was still in bed, so did not answer the knock. Momentarily I heard someone OPEN the locked door! Thank goodness I had the chain lock fastened... My heart was pounding!! After the 'intruder' left, I cautiously tip-toed into the living room. On the floor just inside the door was a small cylindrical item. I'm blind as a bat without my lenses, and I was squinting to try to identify the object as I didn't want to get too close... I inched closer-straining my Magoo eyes... It looked like a...a...a BOMB!!! I was afraid to go past it to get out the door, which was the only exit. I went back to the bedroom to get my glasses, then took a peek back into the living room. I then was able to identify the object of my terror, and laughed hysterically in relief. A few days before I had called management to bring a missing item of hardware from the bathroom- the plastic toilet tissue holder!!!
