Maybe I'm not following this "50% is untradeable" conversation right. I agree I would love 65%, but I'm not Doug and I don't get 86%. I'm more like 30 to 40% winners and am up for the year. Cut your losers and let your winners go. The 3 to 4 winners offset the losers, at least for me they do.

Bdog,

The initial "50%" reference was about support being broken 50% of the time. It has nothing to do with whether or not a system can be built to take advantage of something you know WILL occur. The discussion got twisted around somehow. The event is not the system.
In the heads and tails analogy...you KNOW heads or tails will ALWAYS occur. A system that takes advantage of the outcome is what I am talking about. Action takes place AFTER the 50/50 event has occurred.
If "heads" then action A
If "tails" then action B
Both actions are designed to produce a positive outcome regardless of the initial event's conclusion.
