You miss the point. The issue here isn't whether the reporter is or isn't a jerk. What's offensive is that GWB called anyone a bad name, and did so on "open mike night," when he has promised to take the country in a new direction and lead by moral example. There is a side of this man that scares me, i.e., his taunting of the woman who was executed in Texas. I don't think GWB would make a good negotiator. He might be tempted to call the head of China a "buttmunch" or something similar. People who go to church every Sunday will be taking another look at GWB in new light. Have a nice day.
