There is no indication anywhere in the chip world that anyone has any capacity to spare. I think even the tantalum capacitor business his firmed. So there is another agenda here I suspect and it may relate to options expiration. This looks like a Joseph / Kumar tag team.

As usual, CNBC had to get someone on to bash INTC before they overtook GE as the market cap leader. Kumar claimed that the chip process produced a 5% successful yield. I find that hard to believe. He claims that the pentium III is no longer in demand. I think he is full of crap. I guess we'll have to wait and see. When the cnbc buffoons asked him why he left it a buy, he hemmed and hawed about long term, but was scared to admit that he would look like a fool if he downgraded any worse. knc
