NETP-BVSN - Recently BVSN announced a major new initiative targeting the retail sector, which is NETP's area of strength. There was speculation and discussion about what effect this would have on NETP. BVSN is a NETP re-seller. I made enquiries of the company and got this reply: ___________________ As for the BroadVision release, the best that we can determine is that BroadVision has repackaged some of their existing product; we haven't yet been able to determine whether there are new components to it. We can still bolt onto BroadVision's platform, and to the best of our knowledge, BVSN doesn't have collaborative filtering personalization technology. We also believe that our back-office analytics are much more sophisticated.
