There is some real buying coming into DSS today. Over three quarters of million shares by 11:30, the stock is up to 13 7/8 on the ask, and some big blocks are trading. The news on Snap--with both Bell and Dell (no, I didn't just make that up, they must have a poet on their PR staff at Snap, it does sound, well, "Snappy")--must be having a good effect, as well as their doubling Snap's capacity every month or so, now up to 240 gig. The Dell article is below.
"Dell is committed to delivering a breadth of storage solutions that address the data sharing requirements of our
customers at every level," said Russ Holt, vice president and general manager of Dell PowerVault Storage Products.
"The market leadership and technology advantage of Quantum's NAS product coupled with Dell's system and service
capabilities will make this the ideal product for the file serving needs of small business enterprises and corporate
workgroup environments."

Quantum looks to broaden the reach of its Snap Server storage solution with a series of technological alliances with
companies, such as Dell, that are committed to increasing category awareness for NAS products.

"Today, Quantum is not only expanding its Snap Server family but also its sales channel. Through an aggressive OEM
program, we will uncover markets via companies offering unique channel and product roll-out strategies," said Anders
Axelsson, vice president and general manager for Quantum's Server Appliances Division.

According to a recent study conducted by PC Data, Quantum currently has 85 percent market share in the workgroup

with its current and future partners to develop new strategies and products designed to grow opportunities within the NAS marketplace.
