Yeah, I'll be interested in seeing why the downgrade came; whether it was that he sees INTC primarily as a MPU maker and he sees a slowdown in PC's, or whether he sees a broader slowdown in demand for all chips.

It could just be that Intel has been screwing up of late. Their decision to make Rambus the memory standard for their systems has really caused problems with their chipsets. The 820 has been recalled and now the 840. Add the recall of the 1.13 GHz Pentium III and Intel starts to look like a company having execution problems.
