GVTucker, RE: The long standing Intel policy of giving detailed guidance, and then giving an update when actual operations deviated from that guidance, is a sound policy, and is the best policy for long term shareholders.

I agree. Now, if Intel has not given an update regarding operations deviating from their detailed guidance, why are we listening to Kumar and others who seem to be telling us they know before Intel does?

Not trying to be argumentative here. Just thinking that Intel has established some credibility with their guidance and wondering why the market is more than willing to act on Kumar's guidance rather than Intel's.

All replies appreciated. Need a little hand-holding here. At least while I read that Intel yields are not what I would expect and that the demand we've been reading about is not real. I think others understands my frustration.

Trying to be rational. Trying not to scream, "Help!" Appreciative of all replies. Very, very.
