somehow, i don't think they appreciate JNPR eating their shorts, though.... JNPR is gaining momentum at the expense of CSCO. i don't think CSCO really wants GOOD competition, just competition. now, they're getting GOOD competition and i'm not sure they're going to have an adequate answer for the 2G routers... "but we're Cisco" certainly won't do....

Another interesting opinion (admittedly solicited) from the Juniper board:
