Traders were watching a tropical depression in the Caribbean, but the system has yet to affect the market. Oct traded over the counter at $4.850-$4.860 Tuesday morning. * * * "It's quiet this morning, the strength is based on warm weather in the south," a broker said. "Crude is called higher and that is also supporting the market right now." Meanwhile, a tropical wave remains in the central Atlantic Ocean at 0530 ET Tuesday, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said. The system continues to be watched for possible tropical depression development, although there has not been any significant change in the system overnight. The center of the disturbance was located 950 miles east of the Lesser Antilles moving west-northwest. "No one is talking about the storm yet," a trader said. "They're watching it, but it's not a factor in the market yet. Any change in the weather or on the crude market will cause us to go higher." The upcoming American Gas Association storage data is also expected to buoy the market, as traders predict another bullish injection compared to last year. The data will be released Wednesday at 1400 ET. Henry Hub gas for next day delivery traded at $4.750-$4.760 compared to $4.610-$4.750 Friday. End UPCOMING: --Oct natural gas futures expire Sept. 28.
