Greg: I might "quibble" with your decision to sell CPN. Here's why: after this Spring, I will be selling (or significantly reducing my position) in my tech stocks in early March. I am convinced that the B&H strategy is no longer a winner for the tech sector.

By contrast, the energy stocks should have much less volatility and less decline percentage-wise during market downturns. I think these stocks can be held for 12 months, permitting LT capital gains when sold. Additionally, I think they will perform as well as many of the large-cap tech stocks over the next 2-3 years.

Only reason to sell CPN at this time (IMHO) would be if one was uncomfortable with the historically high valuations for an energy company. However, I think its growth rate and the coming energy crisis warrant its valuation. Comments and friendly dissent always welcome!
