Led Zeppelin Tribute By Bluegrass
Players
dailynews.yahoo.com
(9/3/00, 1 p.m. ET) - Led Zeppelin might not seem to be
the ideal band to inspire bluegrass musicians, but a new
album proves that just isn't the case. Out now is Pickin'
On Zeppelin, a collection of 12 Zep classics
reinterpreted by some of the hottest bluegrass session players from both
Nashville and California.

The set is the latest in a series of Pickin' On. . . albums from CMH Records,
which in the past has saluted acts including Santana, Aerosmith, ZZ Top, Eric
Clapton, Bruce Springsteen, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Bob Dylan, the
Beatles, and Jimi Hendrix.

The track list for Pickin' On Zeppelin includes "D'Yer Mak'er," "Kashmir,"
"Ramble On," "Black Dog," "Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You," "Going To
California," "No Quarter," "The Song Remains The Same," "All My Love," "The
Battle Of Evermore," "Rock And Roll," and "Stairway To Heaven."
