It's not the language that's unsettling. Bush and Cheney weren't even having a conversation. It was the way that that Bush spontaneously had to make a personal attack. He didn't say "I think his articles are wrong", or "That reporter doesn't like me". He just had to go for the behind the back character assasination. It speaks volumes on the kind of man he is, regardless of the words used.
