There's a volume 1 & 2. Which reminds me,
I picked up Vasser's Dead Grass along with a few others CDs
at Tower this weekend. I didn't plan on buying Dead
Grass but it was on sale for 12.99. I haven't listened
yet.

Rob Ickes, an awesome dobro player, is on some
of the "Pickin on" CDs. I haven't heard of anybody else.
I'd like to see Sugar Hill Records put some of their
guys to work on similiar projects. Sugar Hill did Dolly's
bluegrass CD. Judging from all the clips I spent the last
30 minutes listening to none of the "Pickin On" discs is
even near the same league as The Grass IS Blue, Dolly's CD.

Pickin' on ZZ Top is also good. Besides Rob Ickes,
Bryan Sutton, the guy who filled in for Tony Rice
on Bela's session tour, is also on the disc. Bryan
also used to play with Ricky Skaggs.

The La Grange clip is awesome.
