Keith,

<< QCOM's execution of delvery for 1X chips is nothing short of a miracle >>

First, I'll credit Qualcomm with a fine job on the MSM3300 (completed ahead of schedule and sexy as heck).

??? MSM5000 will ship to a July 1999 draft spec ratified April 2000 as phase zero, after a product announcement May 24, 1999. I am honestly not sure that is a miracle, but if we ship em in quantity this month and exceed Snyder's earnings forecast for the FY, I'll count it as one. <g>

<< MSM5105 >>

Now that's interesting.

Scratch my formerly written italicized paragraphs below.

MSM5100 is first chip 1x production chip announced that will support an R-UIM and it is still showing as such on the 4-28-00 roadmap of Bill Bold. I have not seen a later roadmap. Have you?

Standards of course are not complete to finalize specification for the MSM 5100 or the MSM5500 ....

Thanks for setting me straight.

MSM5105 is kinda good news, bad news, but much more good than bad.

Best news of the day.

Now if we just had a new roadmap.
