RE:"Jim, at the close, AMD down more than INTC (but will AMD make it up in the dribbling in after hours?).
Kumar hits right after the "return from the Hamptons." With the tech wreckage today, he must be really feeling like he's something. I wrote something else, but changed it. Oh well, Sonathon Soseph of Jalomon Jmith Barney, with his famous Tantalum capacitor call, was the Black Knight for a while. Now it's Kashout Fubar."

I doubt it, AMD is still the Rodney Dangerfield of stocks...
Intel goes down, AMD with it...Intel goes up, AMD gets a point or two at best, AMD is clearly not back on the "list" yet.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kumar did recommend AMD soon and Intel in October...he had to get the institutional guys a good buy point and cover his behind in the meantime...
He will? say in a month or two, when he recommends Intel again, that he never had anything but a buy signal all along. You see, Intel is still secretly on the "list"....despite the concerns of GV Tucker who was worried about Intel being taken off the "list" when the analysts returned from the Hamptons...
