This article is kinda confusing. Why won't ANTEC not bring NT's other telephony solution along with the Arris products to the cable operators?

I may have missed the point of this article but as long as ANTEC is doing a good job of marketing Arris (and pulling in NT for other solutions), what is the problem.

Maybe ANTEC is a distributor for another competing vendor like LU for the other telephony solutions like optical, IP, OSS?? That doesn't seem to make sense however........Kenneth do you know what this article is trying to say? Why is exclusivity bad in this case as long as ANTEC is not stumbling? After all, it's just another distribution channel for Arris which is majority owned by NT and NT has had long history of selling through channel partners.
