iospatch, Al Gore heh-heh, what a devious guy. I just found out that his prescription drug plan won't even kick in for eight years until he's out of office...A little fact that he's omitted to tell the people at his campaign stops...This guy is smooth, smooth, smooth...And that kind of did it for me in deciding whom to support.

My personal take is that George Bush, Jr. is a great leader but only an average speaker; while Al Gore is a great speaker but is only an average leader....

Even though I am a former member of the Carter Administration, I'm going to "do the right thing" and vote for George W. Bush, Jr for President....How about you? (Realizing that no matter what I write I lose 1/2 of my friends here, ha!).

Re power plant: Consider this- The drought out West- Are you familiar with water usage ratios at gas-fired power plants?

Basically a 500 MW capacity-rated gas-fired generating plant needs 4-7 MM US gallons of water daily to run. Query- Will these use numbers become a factor in powergen if the drought continues.

I submit "yes".....
