It doesn't even have to be price controls. After my supermarket raises the price of Hunt's Snack Pack pudding by a non-inflationary 30% from $0.99 to $1.29, they then put it on sale for $0.99, or at least that's what the empty shelf says. -g-

T, They've already explained energy prices. They are not "core," so they don't count. Remember that next time you take out a mortgage to fill up the T-Mobile. <g>
