I have fond memories of 1973 when Bama beat UCLA 66 to zip.

(Bama was National Champ that year.)

Jerry,

A little early Alzheimers perhaps? Or were you hitting the old still a little early this afternoon?

UCLA never lost to Bama 66-0. In fact, they didn't play them in 1973. (We did lose to them in the 1976 Liberty Bowl, the only previous meeting to last Saturday, where the Bruins destroyed Alabama in a game that wasn't as close as the score .)
We are 1-1 against Bama. Rematch next Sept 1. (If NTAP doubles between now and then, get us tickets and I'll meet you there!)

Hi Jerry,

Good to hear from you. I have no recall of that game. I do remember that one year Bama crushed the Huskies (UW). It was I believe the first year for Don James as coach.

Football aside, thank you very much for you posts. NTAP has been very good to me.

Best Wishes, Jim
