There are a lot of telecommunication/Internet stocks out there which are much higher priced than QCOM, measured by their PE, market price to book, price to sales, etc. If most tech stocks were overbought, then I doubt that we would be seeing such a relatively high number of IPO's. According to data shown on CNBC today, the number of IPO's is down from the same period last year, but still is fairly high. With the overall economy in good shape, and with the PE for the overall market, measured by the S&P 500, less than it was last year, and with interest rates remaining steady, all the ingredients are in place for UNDERVALUED stocks such as QCOM to recover.
