Good night, everyone. I wish you all well and hope TigerPaw will quit hoarding his money. Maybe he could go into a limited partnership with Gore and buy some slum housing. After all, these people have little power and won't complain if you don't properly maintain the property. Gore has already figured that out. He will teach you, Tiger Paw.

In the private school system nearly 90% of the available dollars go into the classroom.
Any sources? In my locale the money seems to go for new pickup trucks for the headmaster. Of course he said the money was going to the kids too.

50% vs 90% is a huge discrepancy, unless there is subsidies in one but not in the other. Don't forget the infrastructure cost as well - that's the cost for building, school ground and classroom for maintenance, repair and improvement. Please put some thoughts and reasoning into it, and try the math yourself. Many public schools are in older facilities that were built 20, 30, 40 years ago.
