Hi Tim - here is a link to a fairly complete list of consulting firms in SAPE sector. A few are not pure-plays such as RRRR which has a Venture Capitalist branch as well as consulting. A few are older consultants such as CA CATP and KEA. A couple also offer hosting services such as BWAY but are included as the consulting branch is a significant contributor to overall revenue. The list does NOT include the more pure-play ASP's such as DIGX and EXDS. It is indicative of the pressure the entire sector has been under lately. BUT in my little opinion it is very interesting to look at those that are up today....pay particular notice to SAPE and DTPI which have some of the best sales growth in the industry.

My Take on those that are up today FWIW.

APNT = recently acquired by CMRC
BWAY = also has the hosting branch
CNRC = dead cat bounce probably
DTAS = positive 8/28 comments by BofA / pretty decent revenue growth
DTPI = A Leader in the industry - nice revenue & EPS growth
LUMT = accumulation since recent low of 7 1/4
MRCH = very strong revenues and bounce of 18 - never recovered from sell off post merger with USWeb/CKS and Whitman-Hart. ( This one bears watching longer term imo Float is 133M though).
NTPL = Dead cat bounce probably
PER = bounce of recent low
RAZF = a former TJ play bouncing off low
RMKR = Dead cat bounce
RRRR = also has that Venture Capitalist branch
SAPE = A Leader in the industry - nice revenue & EPS growth

For anyone not used to Yahoo Portfolios>>>>>>>>>>>
The link shows the "DayWatch" View. By clicking "Detailed" under "VIEWS" you can see a small chart for each symbol. By Clicking "Fundamentals" one can see the PE, etc.

Tim - that Consultants link I just posted is not "Locked" in time on Tuesday's close (right now at 11 pm my time PDT). Therefore it will show 20 minute delayed quotes all day Wednesday in the "DayWatch" view I linked you to.

BTW...Yahoo just added another "VIEW" called "Real-Time ECN" so on Wednesday using that new VIEW for the link will show real-time quotes ...this could be useful all day looking for rebounds / bounces on the consulting sector. Even BS VIAN could bounce a point or two....stranger things have happened :)

Perhaps I was just being sensitive. FWIW I hope that I am wrong which wouldn't be an earth shattering revelation..;)
