I have no thoughts about which way it will go. I think it is always more important to gauge whether or not a stock is in a situation where it *might* have an explosive move and be ready for it either way.

The dominant formation on the dailies is a triangle -- flat top at $70 with a rising bottom line. It is close enough to the apex now that I would expect a move shortly if this coil is to act as a springboard either way. If it get much closer to the apex without breaking we'll probably end up with a range until fundamentals change. (This is what happened to MSFT.)

True, if it takes out $70 with vigor, it would be a very important development and would probably lead to a test of the low eighties lickety-split. A $10 move on CSCO, presumably in an environment where the other heavyweights are moving up would bring the NAZ up to new heights -- somewhere in the mid to upper 4000's (i.e., 4500).

Obviously, all the heavily-weighted NDX components have to be constantly reviewed to get an idea of who might be getting ready for a big move. In the end, unless you smell a fundamental change in one of these mania stocks, I think they react to the market overall. For example, if INTC goes back down to $62, ain't no way that CSCO breaks to the upside with vigor.
