Jetform Unveils Wireless Technology to Enable Mobile e-Business

Breakthrough technology now enables organizations to easily adopt
wireless devices as an integral part of an e-business solution
with WML and WAP support

OTTAWA, ON, Sept 6 /CNW/ - JetForm(R) Corporation (Nasdaq: FORM, TSE:
JFM), a global provider of e-process solutions, today unveiled innovative
mobile technology in support of e-business processes. Leveraging JetForm's
technology expertise, customers can now send and receive forms via a wireless
device for the first time.

The first implementation of JetForm's wireless technology will be
included in its e-forms product, ReachForm, which now supports Wireless Markup
Language (WML) and Wireless Application Protocol (WAP). This addresses the
needs of connected mobile users-those that have a remote, live connection to
the Internet, such as a cellular phone with a micro-browser.

"The enterprise demand for wireless data applications is increasing
daily," said Phillip Redman, Senior Analyst with Gartner Group. "With the
advent of higher-speed packet networks, data devices and most importantly
compelling applications, it's not a question of if, but when this market will
take off."

The integration of wireless support into an e-business model with JetForm
technology eliminates complicated reprogramming and will enable JetForm
products such as ReachForm to detect and treat microbrowsers on cellular
phones the same way it does Web browsers on PCs. The initiative builds on
JetForm's existing knowledge of the mobile market where organizations with a
disconnected field-force, or users who need to remotely access their corporate
network, have already been taking advantage of the rich intelligence offered
by JetForm's existing forms solution for Windows Pocket PCs, Pocket Form(TM).

"We see wireless technology as a significant component of our long-term
strategy," said Greg Davenport of SAFECO Surety. "Frankly, we're interested in
anything that will allow us to better serve our customers. This initiative by
JetForm is very exciting because it is a tangible example of the potential of
wireless to change the way we do business."

"Cellular phones are just another delivery mechanism for an increasingly
mobile workforce," said Dave Welch, vice president and general manager of the
e-forms business group at JetForm Corporation. "JetForm's wireless technology
will help our customers integrate cellular phones and other mobile devices
into their e-business models. Our work with them ensures this technology fits
their business needs and offers significant value."

The combination of WML and WAP support, as well as JetForm's electronic
process and electronic document presentment capabilities, extends its ability
to create truly comprehensive mobile e-business process solutions that reach
beyond the desktop to any consumer regardless of the device.
