Oracle clarification:

I received further clarification from NETP about the Oracle situation. This should be read in the context of my earlier post which I reproduce below for convenience.

The clarification is:

"We are, in fact, part of Oracle's e-portal strategy. The Oracle product has not been released yet - when that release date is closer, Oracle will be making an announcement about that initiative again. We will be part of that announcement as well as the past news release."

My previous post was:

NETP-Oracle - When Oracle announced its new e-portal range in April/May it named NETP as one of the founding partners. More recently Oracle announced oraclesalesonline.com and there has been discussion about NETP relationship with it and with Oracle, in general. I made enquiries at NETP and got the following response:

Net Perceptions is not tied into the oraclesalesonline.com site. Our direct sales team is in contact with Oracle about this new site.

(Oracle's) iMarketing 11i can use Net Perceptions for E-commerce to track customer affinity for products based on various actions, including browsing through the Web catalog, purchase and explicit ratings. Oracle does refer to us in their collateral, website, and white papers for this integration
