Apart from a disagreement on who is responsible for the economy, I am happier than you can realize that you understand something so important. To me, it is not at all a question of being mean, it is a question of truly helping people to regain their dignity and sense of responsibility, and to give them hope that they or their children can do better legitimately.......

<<Clinton created 23 million new jobs to help get people off welfare>>

What did Clinton do specifically to create 23 million jobs?...raise taxes?

BTW, weren't the liberals kicking and screaming about the thought of welfare reform?

Get your facts straight....do you have any conscious left?

My company took several people from welfare, and gave them training in technical field. Several of them turned out to be super excellent and bright workers and left for higher paying ($40,000+) jobs with other companies after 2 years.
