JW,

Re: WalMart

They gapped up a little this morning.
I'm guessing they close the gap before the day is over so that it can run further without having to close it later on.

(Perhaps it's not much of a gap because yesterday they may have peaked up in the 50's...)

I put a bid in at 49 1/2 which was yesterday's close.
I don't know if it will pull back that far.
If it don't, it's no big deal.
If I can't get a "discounted" sale price on the price of "WalMart" then I can't see me buying it.

This will be a trade. Perhaps I'll sell around it's 50 dma.
If it cuts through it like butter with one of those cheap kitchen knives they sell, I may hold it until it's 200 dma.

JW, re "Gore is dangerous" I beg to differ. Bush is dangerous -- tax cuts will spurr the economy -- the Fed will be forced to raise interest rates if this happens. Also, Gore is much more intelligent than Bush. Regardless of how you feel about past presidents politically, most in recent memory have been extremely intelligent, including Clinton, Bush Senior, Carter, Nixon. Not so sure about Ford and Reagan, but they weren't dummies.

Also, GWB dangerous for the environment. This, to me, is the deal killer.

Better to keep a democrat in the White House and a republican congress to keep each other in check.
