10:36 ET QUALCOMM (QCOM) 62 7/8 +3 1/2 (+5.9%): -- Technical -- Stages breakout of trendline off Aug/July highs. Daily indicators are positive and while trendline support (61) and 59 3/8 are intact QCOM will be positioned for a run at the Aug (67 7/8) and July (70 15/16) highs.

Thanks for the clarification, Catcher. You've put together a very reasonable set of rules that differ between trading and investing positions. I do the same, and the only problem is explaining my split personality <lol>. I just blame it on my Evil Twin (the trader).

If we can hold today's gains, we will close above the 50 day moving average for the first time since mid-April, nearly five months. I am not a trader, but admit to following the charts, and I am curious as to the near term TA implications of this, if any.
