When will there be a chance for bargains?

Will OSX 145 be a bargain after this run?

FGH looking more and more interesting to me. Anyone still following it?

askresearch.com

Technically it does appear to have bottomed. Previously I could load up on KEG, PGO, NSS etc. But most of the screaming values are gone. Those 3 companies are all still great long term buys, but they're not screaming short term value.

At first I thought it was bad news when FGH withdrew the bond offer, but as Slider points out they obviously don't need the money that bad so waiting for more favorable terms is a good thing.

Anyway I just doubled my position again today. If/when oil prices break news highs or the OSX does I don't think FGH will get left behind. I may trim before earnings (come Nov) if the tape is trying to tell me something, but plenty of time for a bounce and/or contract announcements.

Fundamentally I personally do not know when they'll turn, but the perception is that we don't have enough rigs to go around. If this perception becomes strong enough then I think FGH can fly before they fundamentally turn.

If you want a little risk, the Feb 5's at 1 5/8 look real cheap if you think FGH will turn the corner in the next couple months.

I am keeping a tight stop on this one. If it breaks 5 I'll probably walk away and re-evaluate, but as long as it holds above 5, then I'm thinking that all the bad news is already priced in.
