I think somebody is pulling your leg. The last quote which everyone is familiar with belongs to Gore--its placement ingenuous, I think. I enjoyed the rest of those quotes a long time ago--when they were attributed to Dan Quayle. Whoever passed that onto you left out the footnotes. You can get them below.

Well, back to the important issue--where and when to have a debate. I hope both candidates remember why.

JimC--Re: Gore or Bush...politics in general? Recommend you not go there, Jim! I can become relentless when it comes to politics. For example, having been one myself, I can attest that George W. Bush would make a fine state representative. (LOL) Besides, for purposes of thread comity, our focus is on and should remain only on EDIG.
