"Pace Micro said it had won a contract to supply 10,000 ADSL-capable digital set-top boxes to Kingston. These boxes allow the delivery of multichannel digital broadcast television, video-on-demand, high-speed internet access and other interactive entertainment services over Kingston's standard telecommunications network."

elmatador- Pace Micro, from what I know, is STB manufacturer. So this is kind of a weird piece of news out of them. What does ADSL have to do with a STB? And as you may recall, Kingston is the deal ALA (really a Newbridge deal) has to supply TV over 3dsl(VDSL from what I can tell) equipment. Anyway, just thought I would pop it in. I need to do some DD on it to see what the PR is supposed to say, and to see if it's truly for real. If so, at a figure of 10,000 it's going slightly beyond the trial stage, but still not what one would term a rollout. -MikeM(From Florida)
