Sorry I do not trust CHU.

You wouldnt say that if you were short QCOM <gggg>

But seriously, there is no need to disparage Mr. Chu. The chinese have always been fantabulous negotiators. I have the bruises to prove it. There were times when I practically kicked them out of my office. That's when they knew they had the best deal and finalized the agreement. And then of course they tried to nickel and dime that agreement too. I respect that kind of business acumen because they firmly believe that once the deal is done you forget about all the nastiness of the negotiating and become friends.

They understand the strong and weak points of the deal and they have the patience. Most of us lose for both of these reasons and greed on top of that.

But ultimately they get the deal they want at the BEST POSSIBLE Price. And of course then they try to do better.

I believe that CDMA is the best tech avail. The Chinese know it and want it but will never let that cat out of the bag.

Now the key is "does QCOM have the courage of their convictions, the patience and some great negotiators"??

Let the games begin......

Disclosure: I am in QCOM over time at 180, 90, 66, 60. Damn - just kept thinking the slide was going to stop.
