Ted, I've become a bandwagon Giants fan. Dodgers? Never heard of 'em. Giants - best record in the NL.

ted,

Today is one of those days I would be a frustrated Intel investor being how much they have to rely on investment income.

MU down $9. How much did they lose today? $200,000,000 or something?

Doesn't say a damn thing about the "core" business, but it could very well cause Intel to miss earnings in the future.

I think people are not hearing Kumar very well. He's not saying that Intel is in a world of hurt because of its screw ups, but rather that PC demand has fallen off sharply world-wide, and that's why Intel won't meet its forward guidance. According to the way Kumar couched things, the problem with the P3 1.13 G and the P4 play only a small role in this shortfall.

Ted-
Nice to see a droid who actually listened to what Kumar said. My theory is that the sound generated by champagne corks popping all over Droidland after the downgrade drowned out the message that if he is right, (a big if) both companies would be hurt. The stock prices the last 2 days certainly show that a lot of people did get the message.
