Agreed, but take issue with your comment of "both groups are mostly decent and nice folks, but the Japanese tend to be a bit more polite <than Koreans> with their manners"...in my experience, the Korean influence in Bergen county has been wildly positive and they behave just like millions of immigrants who have come before them, which is in a somewhat reserved and shy manner which is oft times confused with rudeness (e.g., Korean merchants not placing money directly in a customer's hand is often viewed by non-Koreans as a sign of direspect, which it is not). Koreans have assimilated amazingly well over the years and have made a terrific contribution to our communities.
