Tom:--Looks like the price of Gas at the Pumps could top US$40/barrel. Who can afford to drive to the malls to shop if you live any distance away. Maybe the high price of gas will keep more families at home buying stuff over the Internet and having more time concentrating on trading online. This should benefit TD Waterhouse. The price of gas in Canada ranges from $0.75 to $0.95/liter. In the UK it's over twice that. That's why I bought QXL.COM - the eBay style auction company in Europe. People will go to the auctions over the Internet I'm hoping. The beauty about TWE is that if people are buying stocks they are making money and if they are selling stocks, TWE is still making money. Trading online should really flourish in Asia. The Asians love to Gamble or should I say "Trade Online".!!!
