JW See post 31934. I'll tell Nobody. I'm sure he will be grateful for the idea. Hoover had a big role in football history. He was the manager for stanferd back about the turn of the century. I think he came up with the axe which is the victory prize in the Cal/stanfurd Big Game. There are a few stories connecting him with the game, but it has been too many years since I've heard them, so get the full story elsewhere. I also believe he was in charge of a program to relieve hunger after being ousted from office. TK
