Hi elmatador - To begin with, Israel tech prowess is very underrated, so it is highly likely. However, two related thoughts, which may or may not contradict your assertion. First, networkers are fairly incensuous anyway. It used to be, and chances are still the case, people moving around in SV from one street block to another. LU took it on the chin when the acquirees set up shops right across the street! Second, if these people are residents of Israel, it is unlikely their allegiance is in their respective former companies. They are just another shop to them. Here, there are two opposing assumptions. I think you are thinking these execs coalesce from different geographical locales while my thought is that they are regional execs. Maybe it helps if there are more detailed bios for the main players

best, Bosco

"The new company, called BigBand Networks, aims to combine video, voice and data capabilities over multiple networks including cable, satellite, wireless and high-speed digital lines, according to a statement."

Sounds familiar. Like the strategy played out by TERN not too long ago, when they departed from their all Cable Modem direction and decided to delve into twisted pair. This, if I'm not mistaken, was heralded as a brilliant move forward, at the time. Are we sure we're not talking about the same people here? ;-)
