SNDK and Tommorrow...

CNBC reports the entire semi-sector was beaten down now for day two- still based on Intel downgrade. It's also reported that tommorrows numbers for National Semiconductor if they meet or beat the street- this sector should rebound and return to stability.

Looked up in whisper.com the earnings projection and the National Semi whisper numbers. They show $.66 meets the street with a whisper at $.72.

SNDK fell victim to panic today wheras many sold with the outstanding returns of the past weeks. I still have an outstanding return in place- and if we sink a bit more tommorrow- I will buy more on what I consider day three declines.

Why? SNDK managed to stay in the green yesterday (Tuesday)- but they did decline from highs. What this indicates to me is SNDK was indeed caught in a sector panic sell-off and investors will come flocking back to SNDK as the smoke clears.

But, with todays decline- I suspect buyers will be back in the morning looking for todays SNDK discount. As evidenced by Thompson I-Watch there was strong buy messages at one point this afternoon. Wheras someone loaded the boat. They bought on decline but not the low of the day.

SNDK and the MP-3 effect- initially todays move could have also reflected fears associated with this judgement. However, as noted in a recent trade publication several companies are in negotiations with the record labels on just how this still can be accomplished and everyone profit from it.

Remember, downloading these CD's comes at virtually no cost to the record album- thus reducing costs and increasing margins. I suspect we will see an announcement very soon based on this ruling "the go ahead" for such a move.

Anyway, I'm Long... but I sure wasn't comfortable with the day. I look forward to the bounce back I've noted above. And I assure you... it will come... again, check the financial strength of SNDk in morningstar, the past quarter's earnings increases.

Slowdown? Not IMHO...
