Terry, This is a funny group and you really have to go stock by stock, as there is no industry, as such. I love Duramed and highly recommend it. Until yesterday, I loved Sangstat. However, my mother got a letter from her transplant surgeon warning her not to take generic Neoral, which is Sang's big product. Until I talk to him, I have put Sang in limbo.

After those two, you have to go drug by drug. I don't have any super favorites other than DRMD. I do think prescription health coverage for Americans would be positive for the generic guys, though Dubya's plan looks like so much rehashed Republican "now you get it, now you don't really get it." The poor elephants haven't figured out that the reason Medicare is so much more efficient than any other medical insurer in the world is size and lack of competition. If you are a drug co. and 10 insurance companies offer you a payment schedule, losing a couple of them for bidding too low won't kill you. But if Medicare makes you an offer, you can't refuse. Once again, the Reps are on the side of the cos. and against the populace, though Dubya is trying to hide the fact with smoke and mirrors.

Ergo, research drug cos. at their current silly multiples don't look like such a hot investment if we get coverage.
