I know Keith but let me show you with my " on the SURFACE looking mistake".

I stepped in and bought 1400 EXTR yesterday at practically the high, 98 1/2. Down somewhat today also - LOSS ON PAPER, maybe $7,000 etc. LOSS OF FAITH - 0.

THAT IS THE SUM OF THE DIFFERENCE - FAITH and PATIENCE to $150.

Love ya,

V

Keith,
I for one am not exactly happy about this year. Last year up about 180% this year 60% not including the last two days. LOL. When we go to 5000 as I have been rolling cc's into my holdings rather than spending them I believe I will up about 20% from the last time we hit 5000.

WE WILL HIT 5000.

Keith,

I'll echo your comments. I have been clipped almost 10% in two days. Sort of like a roller-coaster ride except you lose track of where you are when your eyes are closed. Question is, are you positioned to take advantage of the longer term rises in the market?

Personally I use minimal margin (<15%)to buy calls or sell puts on stocks I feel are going to make the right upside moves. Cree has been one of them. In hindsight I should have sold my dec 110 calls about 10 days ago and re-bought after the last couple days' decline. But, its hard to figure the bottoms and tops.

Suffice it to say you've got company.

Hi Keith:

Started reading the posts this evening. About the two steps forward and one step back dance. To me if feels that i am taking these same steps, but doing so while riding on a downward riding escalator. I keep wondering where this Labor Day went to. Seem like one of those pay per view fights where you go and get a quick drink from the fridge only to return and find that the rally ended in the interum.

OK everybody, sing along

"...where have all my profits gone,
long time paaasing.
Where have all my profits gone, long time ago...
Where have all my profits gone,
Gone to margin calls everyone,
When will they ever learn,
Oh when will they ever learn!"
