What's going on with this analyst Kumar who downgraded Intel. I don't follow Intel, but I've read that their inventory is tight. Brian, what do you think? Mephisto

"Shareholders ……………………. ignored a report from the Semiconductor Industry Association that worldwide sales of chips surged to a record $17.3 billion in July, up 50 PERCENT from the same month a year earlier.

A positive analyst report from Merrill Lynch on the outlook for semiconductor sales also failed to shore up demand for the stocks.

I just downloaded a tres cool program, especially if one likes to research technology and frequently comes across words he doesn't know the meaning of. Simply right-clicking on the word and choosing gurunet will bring up the definition.
