I don't follow Intel. I don't own Intel shares, but I've read that Intel's inventory is tight so I wonder: does Intel really have a problem or does the problem exist only in analyst Kumar's mind?

"Shareholders ……………………. ignored a report from the Semiconductor Industry Association that worldwide sales of chips surged to a record $17.3 billion in July, up 50 PERCENT from the same month a year earlier.

A positive analyst report from Merrill Lynch on the outlook for semiconductor sales also failed to shore up demand for the stocks.
