Bill. Yes. I already mentioned in my prev. post that chips are up today. Intel up over 2 at this time. I had bought into CY a cpl of weeks ago and it took a beating also yesterday but it is coming back today. I think I heard yesterday something like: MU is going to 50. That put a fear into the chip stocks. Sheesh. But MU came out with upbeat remarks?
Take some of the stuff I am writing with a grain of salt. I really just hear things in passing at this time.

Thanks for posting the article for us. I had not read this one. There were many articles similar like this before but I guess some of those analysts can't read. gg.

Bill. Correction. Like I mentioned. You have to check me now more carefully.

It was not DOW, it was Dupont that warned because of higher energy prices.

Bill. Interesting. Saudis may pump more oil for 25$ oil and Clinton/Castro shake hands. What better news could you want? gg.

Good morning Bill. Well. It's again past lunch time on the East Coast. Those market hours are just too early in Seattle. And if you want to listen to some preview market talk, you got to get up before the crack of dawn. Like 4 or 5. Sheesh.

Anyhow. I just read the following article:

rd.yahoo.com*http://www.upside.com/News/39b90f290_yahoo.html

It's amazing how any foreign company has no trouble taking over American cos., no matter what the problems may be. But let an American company buy an American company, like WCOM/Sprint and now AOL/TWX and both sides of the Atlantic are jumping.
Even this internet tel.co. got the go ahead to be bought out by a Japanese co. despite security worries. I guess so called competition is more worrisome than security concerns.

I am pretty sure that DT/Voicestream will get the go ahead. I bought into this scenario with VSTR. Now if it were to be WCOM/VSTR, I would be worried. gg.

The market is acting lousy again but your Cnxt got an upgrade.

I mentioned to Dom that someone is calling for oil to be at 20 next year. Yeah right. But who knows, maybe it will happen. Saudis are now supposedly going to pump oil until it hits 25. They were also going to pump more oil last Jan.
There was talk though this morning that lots of tankers are cruising the seas, full of oil. I guess we will find out soon enough. Better sooner than later. High oil prices seem to show up in earnings faster than expected.
