API's? Bullish. IMO the only reason crude is building is because refiners simply aren't getting the job done with distillates. I wish to correct a previous error. A week ago I said distillate levels were up to trough levels of last year. Wrong. They are still below those levels. Sooner or later the crude HAS to be turned into distillates or it will take several years for US distillate stocks to recover. The distillate numbers are the key here. The distillate build is worse than pathetic, it is alarming. The gasoline numbers were a little surprising, and slightly bearish.
